Although a sample, a great teaser for the full book. I can't wait, this author is a truly amazing story teller.
How comepeople are reviewing a teaser? We don't review movies by trailers either do we? it isn't even a preview, more like a concept. It has now been so long since this was written and with so long to go still that it must have changed by the time it will be finally puhblished, if ever.
for someone who has written a succesfull book that sold so well, he could have written five books by now. Must be some legal thing regarding the publishing date.

I'm also disappointed the release date for this book keeps getting pushed back!
Why dont we hear from the author. I enjoyed Pilgrim, but wont be reading the second one unless Hayes gets up and defends himself!! I am an indie author self-published and would kill for the publicity he is getting. WHAT A DISGRACE!!!!
What an ongoing publication disaster! And is part of this fiasco. $49.98 for a book that apparently has yet to be published?
What a joke! How could the author of I AM Pilgrim insult his readers with this tease about a forthcoming novel? How could allow reviews for a book that is yet to come out? Even my local library lists it as available as an e-book, but then you can't select it. It's a conspiracy! But worse, it truly damages the author's reputation. doesn't look good either.
I pre-ordered this over a year ago after enjoying "I Am Pilgrim". And I've waited. And waited. And waited. And the release date keeps pushing. Then I get an email today that the release date has changed again. This time to June 1, 2045!!! 28 years from now!!! Hilarious! Good luck, Mr. Hayes, but I'm out.
And what's the deal with allowing five star ratings raving about how great this book is when it hasn't even been released yet? And I'm not talking about the reviews rating it high based on just the sample. I'm talking about the five star reviews like "Great book" and "This writer is brilliant" from "Verified Purchasers" of a book that can't be purchased yet. You need to fix this, .
